Who are we ….

The Hop, Stitch & Jumper is an exciting fabric, yarn, craft and haberdashery venture based in the heart of Kent. With stores in both Maidstone and Tenterden, our beautifully bespoke shops stock a stunning range of fabulous fabrics. Alongside an array of wools and yarns, we offer garments, knitting and crochet patterns as well as a collection of haberdashery products.

The Hop, Stitch & Jumper is staffed by people with and without learning disabilities. Between them, they have expertise in retail and a wide variety of crafts. Those with learning disabilities are working in our shops at different stages of the employment journey, including gaining valuable work experience and paid employment. We are delighted to bring work, learning and leisure opportunities to people with and without disabilities across Kent.

We are proud to have dedicated training spaces in each store, The Hop, Stitch & Jumper offers a wide variety of workshops, classes and opportunities for technical support covering sewing, knitting and craft skills.
